Montjuïc hill has spectacular views over the harbour and the whole city. It is the best place to sit under the warm sun, smell the light sea breeze and get the full scope of Barcelona, with its surrounding hills and facing the deep blue Mediterranean.
Waterfront. Drive along the Old Port and the old fisherman’s quarter la Barceloneta, you will see Columbus Monument at the foot of the famous Rambla.
Passeig de Gràcia. This broad elegant avenue is the paradigm of Art Nouveau in Barcelona. Built for and by the wealthy Barcelonians you can feel the luxury from Gaudí’s tiles for pavements, extraordinary shaped lampposts and the myriad of grand buildings including two of Gaudí’s houses: Casa Batlló, and Casa Milà.
Sagrada Família. It is the jewel in the crown of Gaudí’s works. Go straight in without queuing and marvel at the light and colours that play through the columns in the basilica, if you wait a while you will sense its constant change. You will appreciate this fascinating and extraordinary building in full when you know some of the anecdotes and symbols that lie behind the richness of detail.

I wanted to commend Tanja who was my parents guide in Barcelona on Apr 25/26/28. She was most warm and friendly, well spoken, and extremely knowledgeable about the architecture, history and art of all the monuments and museums that my parents visited. She was also very accommodating to their needs as older travelers, constantly looking out for places for them to refresh themselves, and making sure the pace was not to tiring. Through her good planning she was able to pack all the sights they were keen on seeing into the 3 half days that they had with her. She was also very generous with her time and tried give them as much of her time as possible, sometimes at the expense of her own meals! My parents enjoyed themselves thoroughly and I would highly recommend her to any of your guests! Thank you Tanja and A+.

Excellent guided tour of the Historic Center of Barcelona. 5/5 stars
An exceptional guide, Artur Costa, with his knowledge, an efficient time management and great kindness got an interesting and fun visit-walk with a group of 30 people over 65 all friends of childhood. We spent three fantastic hours. Thank you very much!
